Article Processing Charges
JPHACI is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by International Journal Press. Open access requires a sustainable funding model. The journal uses a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) structure to cover editorial workflow, peer review administration, copy-editing, hosting, indexing, and long-term preservation.

Waivers and discounts
Authors from low-income economies, early-career researchers without institutional support, and authors who can demonstrate financial hardship may apply for a full or partial waiver. See Waiver Policy.
What the APC covers
- Editorial workflow management and peer review administration
- Production: copy-editing, typesetting, XML conversion, DOI registration (via Crossref; registration in progress)
- Permanent open-access hosting and long-term digital preservation
- Metadata distribution to indexing services and academic search engines
What is not charged
- No submission fee
- No review fee
- No charge for reading or downloading published articles
- No surcharge for figures, tables, supplementary files, or colour
