Use this page to propose an edited volume or scholarly monograph with the Journal of Predictive Health Analytics and Clinical Informatics and International Journal Press. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis.

What we publish

  • Edited volumes: multi-author collections organised around a coherent theme within the journal's scope: predictive health analytics, clinical informatics, health data science, model governance, and adjacent fields.
  • Scholarly monographs: single- or co-authored book-length works presenting original research or synthesis.
  • Reference and methods works: handbooks, methodological guides, and curated companions of lasting scholarly value.

What to include in a proposal

  1. Rationale: the contribution the book makes, its relationship to existing literature, and why it fits the journal's scope.
  2. Annotated table of contents: chapter titles with a short paragraph describing each chapter's argument and contributors (if known).
  3. Editor / author details: affiliations, ORCIDs, and a one-line statement of editorial responsibility.
  4. Audience and positioning: intended readership and comparable titles.
  5. Timeline: expected manuscript delivery and any external constraints.
  6. Open-access disclosure: confirmation that the work will be published open-access under CC BY 4.0 in line with the journal's Open Access Policy.
