Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026): Inaugural Issue

Published on 13 September 2026, the inaugural issue of the Journal of Predictive Health Analytics and Clinical Informatics (JPHACI) opens with SmartCoughNet, a deep learning-based mobile framework for respiratory disease detection using cough audio analysis. The study converts cough recordings into Mel-spectrogram representations and comparatively evaluates ResNet50, EfficientNet-B0 and MobileNet-V3 Large for triage into Negative, Positive and Unknown categories, reporting EfficientNet-B0 as the strongest performer.
