Propose & Partner

We welcome proposals to publish or partner with the Journal of Engineering Informatics and Data Systems. Books, workshops, conferences, and partnerships are all in scope. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis and acknowledged on receipt.

Two ways to propose: use our online Propose & Partner form, or email [email protected]. The guidance below sets out what to include.

Submit a proposal online

Book proposals

Edited volumes and scholarly monographs aligned to the journal's scope. Send a rationale, an annotated table of contents, and editor details. See Book Proposal for the full guidance and submission template.

Workshop proposals

Academic workshops, methods labs, and thematic seminars whose themes intersect the journal, optionally developed into a special section. See Workshop Proposal for what to include.

Conference proposals

Curated, peer-reviewed conference proceedings published as a special section, following the journal's dedicated process. See Conference Proposal for the required information and template.

Faculty development programs

Structured training for faculty and research scholars: research methodology, academic writing and publication, research ethics and integrity, and data and research tools, delivered with partner institutions. See Faculty Development Programs to propose a program or invite the journal to run one.

Certification courses

Short, certificate-bearing courses in scholarly skills such as research design, academic publishing, peer review, and research integrity, with a certificate of completion. See Certification Courses to propose a course or partner to host one.
